About BimmerQuote

BMW owners get repair quotes they can't judge. The same job can be $2,000 at one shop and $7,000 at another. BimmerQuote puts real prices side by side so you know what is normal.

Where the numbers come from

Every price on this site comes from a public post by an owner or a mechanic on Reddit or a BMW forum (BimmerFest, Bimmerpost, 1Addicts, E46 Fanatics and others). Each one links to its source. We don't make up averages or estimates. A few pages also show published estimates (for example RepairPal) with a yellow "Estimate" label. Those are kept out of the dealer, indy and DIY ranges. If we only found a few prices for a job, the page says so.

How to read a page

• Dealer, Indy, DIY: the lowest and highest real prices found for each, plus the median.
• Every price we found: the full list with what was included, so you can compare scope.
• Prices vary with labor rates, region, year and what else gets replaced at the same time.

Add your price

Each repair page has a form to share what you paid. Submitted prices will be checked before they are added.
